To share and improve access to the knowledge, TAP has been providing free webcasting of presentations and lectures since 2005 congress.

A total of 8 workshops (6 free, 2 with nominal fees) were conducted during the congress and there were much more interest in workshops than expected.
Also two statellite symposiums, sponsored by Seriver and GSK, were offered to participants.
Finally two very special and meaningful social programs were offered to the participants. Both programs were made possible with support of Medical Director of Bakirkoy Mazhar Osman Psychiatric Hospital: 1. “The History of Psychiatry in Turkey through Art”  Exhibition was opened on the second day and was visited throughout congress by many participants and guests with interest and admiration. Outstanding samples from traditional arts of miniature, illumination, pictures, painting, water marbling, and calligraphy were on display.

2. “The Thinking Songs”  program was celebrated on the night of November 25, 2011 with very high and enthusiastic  participation of audience.
In 1952 the patients in Bakirkoy Psychiatry Hospital made a larger copy of “The Thinking Man” sculpture of Auguste Rodin. Over time this sculpture became almost the symbol of the hospital.
