TURKISH ASSOCIATION FOR PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY ORGANIZED A NEW COURSE WITH
INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR INTERPERSONAL PSYCHOTHERAPY
The courses are scheduled as two-day events and they will be held on April 6-7 and April 13-14, in Istanbul. Two-day Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) course will teach experienced mental health professionals, the introduction of the model of IPT along with patients of depression and other disorders and aimed at transferring the knowledge of how to implement this approach. The two-day course program on the subject will be addressed with general principles on the presentation of didactic style, and small group activities, and aims to focus on the basic information on the subject. Dr. A-level course participants will receive basic certification. Scott Stuart and carried out by Dr. Oguz Omay.
Dr. Stuart, Institute for Interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT-Institute-Interpersonal Psychotheraphy) manager, and the International Society of Interpersonal Relations (International Society for Interpersonal Psychotherapy) president. The United States has been working as a professor at the University of Iowa departments of psychiatry and psychology. Dr. Stuart, interpersonal psychotherapy for nearly 20 years providing training and relevant to clinical practice and research continues.
Dr. Omay is a supervisor at the Interpersonal Therapy Institute and is a certified therapist. He is especially expertised in the area of perinatal Interpersonal Therapy.
